MWB receives no state funding it is a support group who fundraise for all their social outings and support it offers families. These are some of our recent fundraising events:
December 2016
MWB held a Table Quiz in Begleys Pub in Killoe, Longford, a great night was had by all and a total of €380 was raised for the group. Thanks to Irene McNally for organising, all the families and Eurogiant, Longford and Kanes Costcutter, Drumlish who donated prizes, and those who supported the night by organising and working at it on the night.
Abbeyshrule Craft Fair was held on Sunday 11th December and the proceeds of the raffle, €840, were given to MWB Autism Support Group in recognition of their part in organising in the run up to the event and on the day, thanks mainly to Nicola Gerety.
Irene Beirne raised €50 running this marathon.
The collecting box in Eurogiant Longford yielded €151.
October 2015
MWB took a table at the car boot sale in Carrick on Shannon, Co. Leitrim. Thanks to all those who donated items and those who manned the stall on the day, namely Irene Beirne, Michael Bryson, May Flynn, Sian Hennessey, Irene McNally and Bernice O’Connor. Total raised was €260.
August 2015
The Longford Marathon – Irene Beirne and Irene McNally completed the marathon on Sunday 30 August and raised a total of €908 for MWB.
Rock Night in Clondra – On a shockingly bad night Frank and Orla Keane mad a donation of €100 from the Bikers for Bethany Rock Night held at the Richmond Inn in Clondra, Co. Longford.

Abbeyshrule Christmas Craft Fair – Thanks to all who helped in any way with this fair, especially Nicola Gerety and her amazing organising skills. €736 was raised from the raffle and €335 from the cake stall (after costs), with donations a total of €1289.
